The Orthogonal Blast: When a bomb detonates, its explosion fires out in a straight cross shape (up, down, left, and right). It does not travel diagonally, meaning you can stand completely safe right next to a blast line if you are behind a solid corner.

The Breakable Matrix: The arena is filled with colorful obstacles like hedges, ice blocks, or arcade cabinets depending on the map theme. Blasting these blocks is the only way to open up the map and uncover essential hidden power-ups.

Always Map Out Your Escape Route First: Before you hit the spacebar to drop a bomb next to an obstacle, look behind you. Make sure there is a safe alcove or a side street you can step into to get out of the direct line of fire before the timer hits zero.

Master the Diagonal Safe-Zone: If you get trapped in a tight lane with a live bomb, remember that the explosion cannot cross corners. Move exactly one grid square diagonally adjacent to the bomb and hide behind a solid, unbreakable wall block to completely dodge the blast wave.

The Encirclement Trap Trick: The smart AI will easily walk away from a single bomb. To score a guaranteed elimination, wait until an opponent enters a narrow dead-end corridor to collect an item, then drop a bomb right at the entrance to completely block their only escape route.
